Youth in this program receive 22 to 25 hours of community based activities per week as well as intensive supervision. SMART Moves, our drug and alcohol prevention education program, is the prime instruction piece in this area. The Club sub-contracts with the Lackawanna County Commission on Drug & Alcohol to implement this program. Another program is the Get Real About Violence Program (GRAV)

This program is geared for Club members ages 6-13. The program teaches students skills to be healthy by showing them how to maintain self-control when tempted by violence, resolve conflicts without violence, and prevent or avoid situations by using self control. Restorative Community Project (RCP)
Offers a two-part program focused on cultivating a restorative framework and restorative practices. Part One educates participants about restorative mental models through a 32-hour training facilitated during a nature-based retreat. During Part Two, participants conduct a participatory action research project exploring marronage (a community-based realization of freedom) in 12 sessions over 3 months. Program cohorts contain 10 youth. Participants are paid a $450 stipend.
