Outpatient mental health services

Provides a variety of support groups for individuals with mental or physical health issues. Current groups include Grief support, Survivors of suicide, widows/widowers, Prenatal and infant loss. Currently all support groups are in person. The website has a list of currently active groups. See website and Facebook for details and locations.

Provides confidential counseling services on a wide range of issues. Services include individual and family counseling, psychological evaluations, drug and alcohol evaluations, expressive art therapies, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), workshops, seminars, and presentations.

13-week support group and discover healing pathways for those with a grieving soul.

Offers faith-based support and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend.

Also provides consulting to businesses and churches who are interested in facilitating team building, transitioning leadership, restructuring or making directional changes, assessing employee's gifts and job fit, and more.

Psychiatric outpatient clinic which works on site and in conjunction with Lancaster County BH/DS to provide psychiatric services.

Bereavement support group for any type of pregnancy loss including sudden infant death loss, miscarriage, stillbirths, ectopic pregnancies, and early infant death. Facilitated by professional grief and loss counselors.

Meetings are held at The Lancaster General Health Campus, 2nd floor. Main lobby reception desk will direct where exactly to go on the second floor.

Communal burial services are held free of charge every other month.

Hospice care can be provided at home, in long term care facilities or in St Luke's Hospice House in Bethlehem. Hospice also provides bereavement support and guidance for anyone dealing with the loss of a loved one, regardless of where their loved one died. Bereavement support services are free-of-charge, open to all and include support groups, workshops for adults and children, lectures/discussions and services of remembrance. Ryan's Tree is a six-week guided peer support program designed for children and adolescents, age 5 - 18, who are grieving the loss of a family member or friend. Home health care is provided by nurses and health aides to help patients recover from illness or injury. Serves individuals from infancy to adulthood. Offers information, support and advocacy to people affected by frontotemporal degeneration (FTD) and their caregivers. Provides a helpline. Organizes Zoom and phone support groups for particular types of FTD and for the main challenges for caregivers (behavior, language, grief, and other young children). Offers Comstock Grants to full-time family FTD caregivers and persons living with FTD.

Offers a six-week daytime educational support group for adults aged 50+ who are trying to cope with the loss of a spouse, life partner, parent, child, or close friend.

Offers a six-week grief workshop offering education and support to young adults who have experienced the loss of a spouse or life partner. Explores the grief experience and grief process and helps participants discover positive ways of coping emotionally and practically.

Kindergarten to 2nd grade-aged children attend groups together with their caregivers. Caregivers can also meet separately in adults-only group meetings.

Uplift also offers specialized grief supports for Spanish-speakers, LGBTQIA+ youth, justice-involved students, and youth homicide survivors throughout the year. Uplift’s Philly HopeLine, a free telephone helpline staffed by Uplift’s clinicians, is a connection point for youth and caregivers to receive emotional or grief support, sign up for grief groups, or connect to community resources.
