Serves as an outpatient mental health facility, providing daily meals, guest speakers, workshops, and other life skills training activities in a non-clinical setting. Offers adult basic education and introductory computer classes.

Operates as an outpatient mental health facility, providing monthly group support, workshops, bi-lingual home visitation, and daily drop-in services. Offers English as a Second Language classes at Harrisburg drop-in center.

Offers assistance with applying for benefits, job applications, resume building, accessing clothing, and other supports as needed. Also offers opportunities to receive CPR training, become ServSafe and OSHA certified and other trainings as available.

Operates a drop in day shelter. Serves as a cooling center during extreme heat weather emergencies. Offers a dry food pantry, free clothing, haircuts, laundry services, weekly art classes, socialization, and information about other resources in the community.

Provides a safe haven and supportive services to individuals experiencing homelessness who have not yet made a commitment to services, treatment, or may have just recently begun treatment and are seeking additional supports. Offers peer mentoring and outreach, social and recreational activities, and positive engagement to foster commitment to housing, treatment, and recovery.

Wireless Hopeline Project: Donated phones are refurbished, recycled or sold. Proceeds are donated to nonprofit domestic violence shelters. Refurbished phones are reprogrammed to call 911 and distributed to domestic violence survivors. Drop off your phone at any Verizon Wireless Communications Store. Shelter guests and the community can come to the Day Center for help with needed resources. They have a Case Manager who can assist with job and home searches, obtaining id's, recovery assistance, professional connections, benefits, medical connections and much more.


All are welcome to hang out at their Day Center for a warming or cooling station. Free lunch 11:00am to 12:00pm, coffee, water, snacks, and resource help.

Safe Haven of Pennsylvania states a parent of a newborn may leave a child in the care of a hospital or a police officer at a police station without being criminally liable as long as the child is no older than 28 days and is not harmed. Safe Haven gives parents a safe, legal and confidential alternative to abandoning their baby. Local Children and Youth agency will take custody of the baby and find them a family.

Provides a skills building program to help people living with serious mental illness develop skills in the areas of living and wellness, education, vocation and socialization. Individual goals can include but are not limited to: managing a household, cooking nutritiously, obtaining a degree, developing social roles as well as skills for healthy relationships (e.g. parent, sibling, partner, friend, tenant).

Offers a Consumer Driven Mental Health Drop-In-Center (DIC) whose purpose is for consumers to share friendship, a warm environment and a place to increase their personal socialization with peers who have similar life experiences.

All in season clothing and accessory donations. Must be clean. Need Men and children clothing, socks, new underwear and undergarments and backpacks. Drop off items at the wood doors facing German Street during Office hours.

Offers a mental health drop in center. Activities include shopping trips, pool and dart tournaments, arts and crafts, meal preparation, dances, movie nights, and board games. The Cove is also dedicated to assisting its' participants in other areas of life, including help with housing issues and consumer education, Peer Support, Mobile Psych Rehab, Service Access Management and Jeff Tech.

Provides employment services: job search, mental health drop in center, Crossing Bridges to Independence, vocational evaluations, production center and work activities center, student and employer alliance program, life skills habilitation program, fairweather lodge, mobile work force training, supported home and community services.

Provides confidential pregnancy resources including self-administered pregnancy tests, material assistance, doctor referrals, agency referrals, adoption information, and options counseling. Offers emotional & spiritual support, individual attention, prenatal & preparation for labor classes, newborn care classes, local public & private school and group presentations on STI’s, and sexual risk avoidance.

Offers a drop-in center for teens. Also organizes a two-week summer program for elementary-aged students.

Daycare services are offered at child care center. Drop-in and contract rates available.

Provides an opportunity for peer support, empowerment, advocacy, and enrichment. A socialization hub where acceptance and belonging are encouraged. Open year round and the consumer-run center offers a wide range of activities.

Offers a safe, social environment for people in recovery and find community resources. The center includes a pool table, TV, a library, living room, kitchen, computer, craft area, games and wellness activities.

The Wellness Gym exercise equipment includes an Elliptical, Recumbent bike, Weider Pro Weight Home Gym and two Treadmills.

Offers socialization and recreation for individuals that includes many amenitities and entertainment. The Place is consumer driven and focuses on recovery principles. Monthly activities are suggested by the consumers. Example activities throughout the month include: dinners, crafts, coffee club, and bingo.

An alternative, non-residential environment for people who have mental, emotional or social problems and which may offer recreational activities, socialization, etc.

Offers as a day shelter for displaced and / or homeless individuals providing telephone contact, mail privileges, daily storage and late afternoon nourishments as well as vital continual community contact in a non threatening sober environment.

Offers homeless individuals Crisis Intervention and Continuing Care, Information and Referral to Local Drug and Alcohol and Mental Health Services; Recovery Specialist on Staff; Resource Coordination; Sober and Supportive Day Room Environment.

Offers a day shelter that provides breakfast; mail, fax, and phone services; lockers (30 days max); public restrooms; hot showers with towels and soap provided; crisis intervention and mental health counseling; social service applications and referrals; a monthly legal aid clinic; and an ID clinic to obtain state IDs, birth certificates, and social security cards.

Serves as a cooling center or code blue shelter during extreme weather emergencies.

Children can enjoy a variety of activities such as four square, video games, use of computers, board games, and music, or they may utilize a quieter room to do homework or read. Supervision during programming is provided by adult volunteers.

Operates a drop-in shelter for men that provides shower facilities and offers shaving, haircuts, clothing, and shoes. Snacks, coffee, and iced tea are served, and sports TV and billiards are also available. Opportunity to fellowship with others is available, and Rosary prayers are said, with no obligation to attend.

Serves as a hub of critical resources for persons at risk of or experiencing homelessness in the Phoenixville area. Resources include showers; drop-in case management (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday); and drop-in mental health and wellness counseling (Thursday).

Also serves as a Code Red Daytime Emergency Cooling Center when the temperature reaches or exceeds 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

Offers childcare for infants to children in grade 7. Programs include care for parents who work out and participate in classes, weekly and drop-in care, early learning programs, preschool programs, and before and after school care for school-age children. .

Offers a safe place for teens.
Activities include: basketball, swimming, games, creative arts, tutoring, cooking, employment skill training, etc..
