Lancaster County Project For The Needy
Christmas Food Basket Delivery
Formed in 1986, this all volunteer group raises money and collects food to distribute to needy families. The food is given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Groceries given to each individual or family are equivalent to two grocery bags and include items such as a 10-12 pound turkey, eggs, milk, bread, potatoes, frozen vegetables and fruit.
