SMART Moves, our drug and alcohol prevention education program, is the prime instruction piece in this area. The Club sub-contracts with the Lackawanna County Commission on Drug & Alcohol to implement this program. Another program is the Get Real About Violence Program (GRAV)

This program is geared for Club members ages 6-13. The program teaches students skills to be healthy by showing them how to maintain self-control when tempted by violence, resolve conflicts without violence, and prevent or avoid situations by using self control. In addition, a variety of personal hygiene and safety programs, health fairs, and other wellness activities are offered to Club members.

Techgyrls is an after school program that gives girls in elementary and middle school the opportunity to experiment with graphic arts, web design, animation, and robotics in a mentoring environment. Offered through schools.

Girls Golf, is a junior golf program that teaches girls, age 7-17, how to play golf. Sessions are held on Saturdays at Southmoore Golf Course. Fees apply.

Prom Dress Day provides free formal dresses and accessories to girls who would not be able to attend their prom because of inability to afford suitable attire. All female high school juniors and seniors are invited.
