Sexual Trauma Treatment and Recovery Services
provides counseling, advocacy, and education to sexual violence victims of all ages, in addition to a 24 hour sexual assault hotline

Provides crisis counseling for mental health issues.

Offers trained community members who, acting as trauma responders, support and lead responses to stress, trauma, loss, and violence within their own communities. Responders work alongside community leaders to provide technical assistance, facilitate group interventions, and create healing spaces. Provides Psychological First Aid (PFA) and immediate support following an incident of violence or trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Management (PTSM) interventions including orientation sessions, stabilization groups, coping groups, and self-care discussions. Offers presentations, workshops, and referrals for clinical services and wellness resources.

Offers counseling, guidance, and direction for receiving prompt evaluation and treatment services.

Mental Health Delegates who answer calls can also assist with:
A) Mobile Emergency Team Dispatch
B) Crisis Response Centers (location and information)
C) Involuntary Mental Health Commitments
D) Consultation, emergency support, and technical advice

Provides mental health case management services, Assists making referrals to children and adolescent services system program (CASSP), community hospital integration projects, partial hospitalization, inpatient treatment, peer support and any other services available to those suffering with a serious mental illness.

Works to create sexual violence awareness and prevention education within communities.

Provides comprehensive services to children and adults who have experienced sexual violence. Direct services to victim-survivors and significant others include:

Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training offered for any agency that interacts with children on a daily basis i.e.: school districts, faith-based organizations, after school programs, etc.

The Sexual Assault Prevention and Counseling Center provides a Volunteer Advocate Training for individuals interested in becoming hotline volunteers.

Provides after hours substance use disorder screening for emergent needs and immediate referral to treatment as indicated.

Contracts with area mental health agencies to provide comprehensive mental health services, Mental Health intake specialist assists each person or family seeking services to identify the presenting problem, complete necessary social, familial, and medical to develop an initial service plan.

Serves as resource brokers, connecting callers to information (agencies, websites, phone numbers, etc.) and community based resources to assist callers in meeting their needs.

Offers support for mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring mental health/ substance abuse emergencies.

Lancaster County's One-Stop Shop for information on alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and gambling. Information and referral staff provide answers to questions about addiction and provide referrals to treatment and support via phone, email, or web chat. Offers a film streaming library and brochure clearinghouse free of charge to the public.
