Each person receives individual assistance from a direct support professional to engage in a variety of activities, from performing the functions of daily living to volunteering and pursuing employment, educational, social, and recreation opportunities. Matches volunteers in one-to-one relationships with adults who are recovering from mental illness. Their friendship provides structured opportunities for socialization which decreases loneliness and increases well being and confidence in the clients. Some opportunities include meeting for coffee, visiting local museums, going out to eat and taking walks together. Other volunteer opportunities include making a 15 minute phone call each week to an individual waiting for one-to-one friend. Program is also available to veterans.

Honors innocent victims who lost their lives due to alcohol and/or drug-related crashes on York County highways and waterways. Committee members add victims' names to the memorial and are available to provide support to family and friends who have lost a loved one in this way. Raises funds to maintain the memorial.
