- Recycling: LCSWMA assists municipalities, businesses and other institutions with starting and maintaining their recycling programs. LCSWMA’s three Lancaster facilities have 24/7 recycling drop-off areas for the following materials: glass bottles and jars, aluminum and steel cans, plastic bottles, and newspapers (including office paper and magazines). The Transfer Station Complex also accepts cardboard.
- Transfer Station Complex: Located on Harrisburg Pike in Lancaster. A central location for the transfer of trash for end disposal (waste-to-energy facility or landfill). Accessible to commercial haulers and residents. Also has a recycling drop-off center and Household Hazardous Waste Facility for items such as paint, computers, televisions, batteries, etc.
