Offers new or expectant parents to have their baby's car seat installation inspected by the Pennsylvania State Police. Bring the car seat in the car to have it installed. Must register for this program; one car seat is allowed per registration.

Offers social services to Latino immigrants in and out of Allegheny County. Provides aid to Latino families based on their individual needs.

Offers education on the correct method to install a child passenger safety seat and provides car seats to families in need.

Offers safety inspections for children's car seats. May be able to provide car seats to families in need or in an emergency circumstance.

Offers programs to educate the community about safety, including bicycle safety education and a car seat safety program.

Also provides first aid and CPR training to groups and employers.

Provides technical assistance ,audio-visual resources, materials, and training on safety issues affecting children and adolescents. Issues include child safety seats, seat belts, airbags, pedestrian, bicycle, and school bus safety and teen driving.

Provides parenting courses: 24/7 Dad Fatherhood Program, Parents as Teachers Program, and offers car seat safety.

Provides listing of local organizations that offer car seat loan programs.

Development and outreach of children's injury prevention strategies that include but are not limited to helmet safety, fire safety, farm safety, general/household safety and car seat/seat belt safety. Also provides volunteer speakers/educators, educational materials and games and referral services.

Coordinates and schedules car seat checks and child passenger safety technician classes.

Provides free or low-cost home safety and child health items that include low-cost child car seats, safety gates and other home baby-proofing products, bike helmets, and fire safety products. Services include installation and safety check of child car seats, assorted safety presentations that can be adapted to children of all ages, parent groups and agency staff.

Provides free pregnancy testing, free diapers (3 dozen), wipes and baby supplies (eligible to receive every 2 weeks through an Earn While You Learn program) for moms with children up to age 3, car seat when mom is 8 months pregnant, baby gift basket and gift for mom when baby is born, parenting and life skill classes tailored to individual need and helps women who may consider an abortion.
