Through United Way of the Capital Region, qualifying people living in Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry Counties can get free federal and state tax preparation online and by appointment. Volunteers trained by the Internal Revenue Service offer assistance with filing basic income tax returns (Forms 1040EZ, 1040 or 1040A.) Free virtual tax preparation services are offered through the Touch-Free Taxes program.
If you live in a different county, search for your local VITA site by entering your zip code.
