This program connects individuals with certified peer specialist who help to build the skills needed to recover from mental health issues and live well in the community.

Certified peer specialists are people who have firsthand, lived experience with mental illness, are working on their own recovery, and are specially trained to help others in their recovery.

Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have:

A) A serious mental illness

B) A need to develop skills and supports in one or more of the following areas:
a) Living
b) Learning
c) Working
d) Social skills
e) Health and wellness

C) A desire to work on one or more recovery goals

D) A referral from a member of your treatment team OR a recommendation from your doctor, nurse practitioner, or psychologist

E) Medical Assistance for health insurance
