Community Care Behavioral Health
Mental Health Services
Provides mandatory medical assistance for behavioral health services in Allegheny County. Community Care helps users get care for a mental health condition, an alcohol problem, or a drug problem. As a behavioral health managed care organization, Community Care pays for medically necessary mental health and substance use treatment services for HealthChoices/Medical Assistance members, including recovery-oriented services for people with mental illness and substance use disorders. Community Care contracts with a variety of mental health and substance use disorder providers in and around Allegheny County.
Eligibility: People who receive Medical Assistance and live in Allegheny County.
Hours: Customer/Member Service phone line answers 24/7 to assist our Community Care Members.
