The County Veterans Service Officer assists veterans and their dependents and survivors to obtain benefits from the federal, state and local agencies administering programs for veterans.
Provides assistance to veterans and their families in applying for state and federal veterans programs and benefits. Serves as the point of contact for the veterans and regional veterans administration office.
Distributes flags and markers for county veterans graves.
Assists in assessing veteran discharge records, medals, awards, etc.
Eligibility: Veterans and their dependents in Sullivan County.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
