Intake Procedure:
Call the Tenant Placement Office and a voicemail will indicate if
waiting lists are open and whether applications will be accepted.
When waiting lists are open, applicants are processed at the Tenant
Placement Office, Rhodes Apartment, 815 Franklin Street Reading, PA
19602. For more details on the apartments and houses available
visit the website.

Opening the waiting list: April 15, 2024, 8:00am for 0-BR for 1
person families, 1-BR for 2 person families who are elderly (age
62+) or who have a disability (18*) located in Rhodes, Eisenhower &
Hubert Apartments, Kennedy & Franklin Towers and Hensler Homes.
General Occupancy, 1-2-3-4BR located in Glenside and Oakbrook Homes
and 5-BR in Oakbrook Homes only.
RHA utilized a 1 offer policy, eligible individuals are not able to select a development but will be offered the 1st unit they meet the criteria for.
Apply online only. Applications must be received by midnight on Wednesday April 17, 2024.
Not all applications that are received are expected to be placed on the waiting list. Lottery-based selection process.
Preference will be given to individuals and families who live in the City of Reading and to families of which a household member is a services member or veteran.
