West Chester Corps - Emergency Financial Assistance for Housing and Utilities
Offers emergency assistance for individuals and families who are in need of help with rent/mortgage to prevent eviction or with paying utilities/heating fuel bill (includes electricity, oil, gas, coal, firewood, sewer, and water).
Eligibility: Chester County residents in service area who do not qualify for county's Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP).

Utilities bill in arrears or due within five days.
All other resources used up.
Applicant lives in the residence and is utilities bill payer.
Assistance must guarantee 30 more days of utilities service.

Coatesville helps 1x only period as their funds are limited.
West Chester 1x per calendar year.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm; closed 12:30pm to 1:00pm for lunch

    Helpful Tips: The maximum amount of each assistance payment is one month's utility usage, one minimum delivery of oil/coal/firewood, one month's rent, or one mortgage payment.
