Supports the outreach mission of Penn State Extension by utilizing unbiased research-based information to educate the public and communities on best practices in sustainable horticulture and environmental stewardship.
Eligibility: Volunteers must have extensive interest and knowledge in Horticulture. Training programs available.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm

Intake Procedure: Intake and/or interview conducted.
Intake Requirements: Must be willing and available to undertake extensive training in horticulture. May not miss more than 1 session of the core topics during training. Attendance at additional classes offered beyond training's will be required.

Helpful Tips: Must be able to communicate in an effective, diplomatic and professional manner with others by telephone, personal contact, group contact and in writing.
