Philadelphia - African Youth Empowerment Program (AYEP)
Offers an after school program for middle- and high school youth of the African and Caribbean immigrant and refugee community. Services include homework help, positive acculturation support, career/vocational guidance, general health and sexual/reproductive health education, nutrition education, and sports and other recreational activities. Also extends the program to Bartram High School campus once a week. Offered from October through June; intake is flexible, and students can join at any time.
Eligibility: Youth in middle school to high school, who are members of the African and/or Caribbean immigrant/refugee community of the greater Philadelphia area
Hours: Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm
