Williamsport - Social Services for the Blind
Provides a comprehensive program of individualized services to keep people living as independently as possible. Services range from one-time appointments to biweekly meetings. Also offers transportation and escort to doctor's appointments or grocery shopping when other resources are unavailable. Casework Associates can assist with reading mail and paying bills.
Eligibility: Individuals who are blind or are experiencing vision loss.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm

Intake Procedure: Contact the office for more information.
Intake Requirements: Once an initial intake is performed to assess an individual's needs and eligibility, a caseworker completes a service plan with the customer with clearly defined objectives and goals.
