Altoona - AHA Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers
Provides rental assistance in the form of a voucher to low and very-low income families, singles, senior citizens, disabled and handicapped individuals through the Section 8 Housing Assistance Payment Program.
Eligibility: Must meet income guidelines. Eligible applicants will be issued a housing choice voucher.
Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Friday, 8:00am to 2:00pm

Intake Procedure: Call for information/application
Intake Requirements: Once deemed eligible, section 8 voucher holders are responsible for finding their own suitable housing within the city based upon the size of their family and the requirements of the program.
