Aids consumers in becoming more independent, locating resources needed to be independent, and achieving recovery. Peer Support does not provide treatment, but rather a mentorship.
Eligibility: A Participant must be 18 years or older. A Participant must have a presence or history of serious mental illness based upon medical records with a diagnosis by a psychiatrist or Certified Nurse Practitioner. A Participant must have moderate to severe impairment due to mental illness.
Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs 8 to 5; Wed 8 - 6; Fri 8 - 4
