Housing Solutions - Host Homes
Provides short-term host homes as an intervention for youth who are currently experiencing homelessness. The goal of short-term host homes is for the host to provide a safe, temporary, welcoming space for up to six months where the young person has time to repair their relationships with self-identified family or make decisions about other housing options with the support of a caring housing case manager.
Eligibility: Crawford County resident; Youth ages 16 – 24 years (under 18 will need parent consent) facing homelessness or housing instability
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Intake Procedure: Call for more information.
Intake Requirements: Youth may have already identified a host home or the case manager may help match a youth to someone interested in becoming a host. Hosts must obtain clearances, complete required trainings, and provide reference letters.
