Clinton County Early Intervention - Preschool Program of Child Development
Provides preschool special education services for children ages 3 until they enter kindergarten. Children are screened and evaluated so that those identified can receive services in the best placement for them, whether it is at home, a caregiver's house, a preschool, or specialized preschool. If it is determined that the child would benefit from a structured preschool classroom, they arrange for placement in one of the contracted classrooms at the Infant Development Program in Clinton County.
Eligibility: After testing, children who show at least a 25% developmental delay or who have been identified as having a developmental disability under IDEA and have an identified need for special instruction will receive services.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

Intake Procedure: Children can be referred by a parent, friend, preschool, daycare, doctor, or other concerned party. Staff will do screening and evaluation procedures. Please call the office.
