Erie - Functional Family Therapy
Provides an evidence-based program that helps families with at-risk youth who exhibit delinquent behavior. By treating the whole family, FFT is designed to help the child overcome issues such as risky behaviors, violence, and behavioral and emotional challenges. The Functional Family Therapy program includes short-term therapy that lasts 18-22 weeks. Weekly sessions are held in the home.
Eligibility: Adolescents age 10 to 18 and their families who are at risk for out of home placement due to parent-child conflicts, curfew violations, truancy, substance use, and behavioral concerns. At least one caregiver must consent to participate in treatment.
