Today, you can apply for retirement, disability, and Medicare benefits online, check the status of an application or appeal, request a replacement Social Security card (in most areas), print a benefit verification letter, and more – from anywhere and from any of your devices!

Intake Procedure: Visit the Social Security Administration's Online Services Website to create an account, apply for a variety of benefits, review your information, and to learn more about the services available.

For general inquiries, if you cannot find the answer to your question through the Online Services site you may use the form at https://secure.ssa.gov/emailus/ to ask general questions. Do not use this form to inquire about your particular situation.

Please do not include Social Security numbers in your message.

The SSA is experiencing high volumes of email and may not be able to respond to your inquiry promptly.
