West Regional Center - Pathway to Advanced Manufacturing Program
Prepares participants for entry-level employment in the advanced manufacturing industry. Teaches skills including reading comprehension, mathematics, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem solving, interpersonal skills, resume preparation, and using job search tools. Learning opportunities include meeting employer partners, guest speakers, and visiting factory and shop locations of potential employers.

    Upon completion, participants earn an OSHA 10 certification and are enrolled to take the following certification exams: National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) examinations for Job Planning, Benchwork & Layout, and Measurement, and Materials & Safety, Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies (PMMI) Mechatronics Certification for Industrial Electricity.
