Offers Cooperative Parenting and Divorce, a 16-hour (8 sessions) class designed to promote effective co-parenting. Educates parents about children and teen issues and divorce.

Helpful Tips: Cooperative Parenting will: Address factors that influence a child's adjustment to divorce; Assist parents in shifting their relationship to a co-parenting relationship; Teach parents anger management and communication skills; Stress negotiation skills and planning for the future. Cooperative Parenting and Divorce is facilitated by trained and experienced Family-Child Resources staff and is approved by the York County Court. Kids First is a four-hour workshop for parents who are separating, divorcing, and/or involved in custody disputes. The workshops are designed to help parents understand divorce from the child's perspective and explain the many adjustments children must make as they cope with divorce. Kids First shows parents how to avoid placing children in difficult situations and helps develop skills that can be used.
