Lycoming County - Community Residential Rehabilitative Host Home Program Services
A program for children with mental health issues that is a family-based alternative to placement in a more restrictive setting. An array of individualized mental health services are provided to children who reside in KidsPeace Host Home settings. A trauma-informed treatment approach is used.
Eligibility: Children's eligibility: * A psychiatric or psychological evaluation that determines a medical necessity for services * A valid PA Access/HealthChoices card * A five axial DSM-IV-R diagnosis * An interdisciplinary team recommendation and treatment plan for services * Appropriate clients may: * Have a mental health disorder that interferes with age-appropriate functioning in a home setting * Need services to prevent hospitalization or placement in a residential setting * Need services to support a transition from a more restrictive to a community-based setting
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
