Pittston Memorial Library - Caregiver Support
Coalition formed to assist grandparents and other relative caregivers facing the responsibility of raising grandchildren or other young relatives due to circumstances such as parental death, substance abuse, incarceration, mental health issues, military deployment, teen pregnancy, abuse or neglect. Topics of support include child support, custody, adoption, legal assistance, education, health care, support group participation, financial issues and general referrals. Information regarding current support groups in the area is also available.
