Bridge of Penn York Valley Churches - Emergency Financial Assistance Vouchers
Provides vouchers for shelter for people facing eviction, needing a security deposit to secure housing, or needing overnight shelter. Provides utility vouchers for those in danger of having their gas, electric, or water turned off. Provides food vouchers for transients needing a meal after food bank hours. Provides transportation for those stranded and unable to get transportation out of the community. Other emergency situations or other monetary crises on a case-by-case basis.
Eligibility: Residency and income guidelines, call for information. For shelter, must have an eviction notice. For utility assistance, must have a shut-off notice.
Hours: Variable. Leave message and the Clearinghouse representative will return call.

Intake Procedure: Call or email to start the process of getting voucher.

Helpful Tips: There is a limit to what a family can receive, but each case is decided on an individual basis.
