Allentown - Christmas Assistance Program
Adopt-a-Family program matches donor groups with particularly needy families. Program focuses on working poor and special cases.
Eligibility: Children 12 years old and younger
Residents of Lehigh County
Hours: 2024 Christmas sign-ups begin Tuesday, October 1st.
Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 12:00pm and 12:30pm to 4:00pm

Intake Procedure: By appointment only; Call to make an appointment
Intake Requirements: Applicants must bring:
Photo ID (drivers license, state ID, passport)
Proof of birth for each child (birth certificates, medical insurance card, state benefit letter)
Proof of all Income (pay stubs for last 30 days, tax return, compass report, ssi award letter)
Proof of address (utility bill or current lease)
Toy suggestions written on paper is helpful to bring (no electronics, bikes, or large gift items)
If applicant has foster or adoptive children, court documents are required
