Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency - Loan Programs - Homeowners Energy Efficiency Loan Program (HEELP)
Offers loans between $1,000 and $10,000 for specific energy efficiency repairs at a fixed-rate of one percent (1%) for ten years with no prepayment penalties. The specific uses for the HEELP funds are: air sealing, insulation and ductwork, energy efficient windows and doors
energy efficient heating or cooling system repairs or replacements, and
roof replacements.
Eligibility: A) The property must be in the state of Pennsylvania and owner-occupied by the applicant as a primary and permanent residence
B) Must complete required paperwork
C) Use an approved contractor
