Pennypack Farm Education Center for Sustainable Food Systems
Horsham - Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program provides organically grown vegetables to families who purchase a season-long foodshare, usually paying in full before May. Households come to the farm weekly for 24 weeks to pick up their share. Some items are U-pick, and most items have been harvested and bunched in to units. Families are expected to contribute at least 4 hours of volunteer labor at some activity to support the farm's operation. Community members take satisfaction in regularly visiting the farm that produces the food they eat and take pride in belonging to a community dedicated to supporting ecologically sustainable agriculture and the preservation of open space.
