Lower Merion Police Department - Crime Prevention Unit
Crime Prevention Unit is designed to implement programs to help protect citizens and property from crime. The Crime Prevention Unit is also responsible for the Civic Association Liaison Program. Through this program an officer attends Civic Association meetings, listens to residents concerns and advises residents on criminal activity in the area. Officers in the Crime Prevention Unit are frequently called upon to speak to groups about a variety of law enforcement issues.
