Processes consumer complaints. Complaints can be sent directly to the barracks where the officer is assigned. Address all correspondence to the Station Commander.
The Pennsylvania State Police Internal Affairs Division (IAD) evaluates all reports of personnel (enlisted or civilian) misconduct.

Intake Procedure: Complaints can be filed at any state police barracks 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, either in person, by telphone, or in writing. Letters must be original (no copies) and contain an original signature. Any complaint of misconduct, including sexual harassment and sexual misconduct, may be reported directly to the Internal Affairs Division. During holidays and non-business hours, please leave a message including your name, address and phone number, and you will receive a return call the next business day. Download, complete, and mail the Complaint Verification Form from their Web site. Copies will not be accepted. It is suggested a copy be made for your own records.
