Offers a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program for those suffering from substance use disorders. Team consists of two psychiatrists, a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, a Psychiatric Nurse Case Manager, a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Medical Assistant and several therapists who are Certified Advance Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CAADC). The program is a combination of both FDA-approved medications and counseling. Three types of MAT are offered:
Vivitrol: a monthly opioid blocker for patients free of opioids for at least five days. We can provide an outpatient detox protocol if needed.
Sublocade: Monthly Buprenorphine injection. Patients need at least seven days on oral Buprenorphine which is provided.
Probuphine: Six-month Buprenorphine implant for patients stabilized on 8mg or less of oral Buprenorphine.
Please note, our practice does not prescribe maintenance oral Buprenorphine.
