Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre - Medication Assisted Treatment Program
Provides medication assisted treatment in order to combat the physical and mental symptoms of opioid abuse, dependence and addiction. Services include: medications to reduce cravings and prevent intoxication, coordination with concurrent therapy and 12-step meetings designed to provide the tools for living a productive life while avoiding relapse, and coordination with outpatient drug and alcohol counseling.
Eligibility: Individuals recovering from substance use disorder.
Hours: Weekly and monthly appointments as scheduled.
