Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) - Central PA Chapter - Patient Services
Offers a Patient Financial Aid Program that can provide a limited amount of financial aid to help patients with significant financial needs and who are under a doctor's care for a blood cancer diagnosis. Hosts Family Support Groups for all patients, family members, and friends affected by blood cancer. Links patients and their family members with a trained peer volunteer who has successfully met the challenges of leukemia, Hodgkin or non-Hodgkin lymphoma, or myeloma through First Connection, a "peer-to-peer" telephone support program. Administers the Trish Green Back to School Program for Children with Cancer.
Eligibility: Anyone with a connection to a blood cancer.

Helpful Tips: The Central Pennsylvania Chapter is committed to reaching out to these individuals in meaningful ways and providing support and guidance to these patients, family members, caregivers, and the healthcare professionals who care for them. Support groups are facilitated by oncology healthcare professionals, and provide information and support and encourage communication. The First Connection Program brings patients and their families the opportunity to share experiences with someone who has "been through it" and obtain valuable information on LLS and community resources available.
