Shippensburg - Community Residential Rehabilitation Services (CRR)
Provides intensive support to assist individuals to develop the practical skills they need to live as independently in the community as possible. Persons live together in a house with their own bedroom and shared living space. They are offered training in skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, vocational and educational pursuits, time management, and medication management. Trained staff is available in the home 24 hours a day.
Eligibility: Referred residents must be 18 years of age, diagnosed with a chronic mental illness
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Intake Procedure: Referrals for the programs are generated through the Franklin/Fulton and Cumberland/Perry County Base Service Units (BSU). The County BSUs are the source for referrals to New Visions, Inc. In Franklin/Fulton Counties, the BSU is Service Access and Management, Inc. (SAM). In Cumberland/Perry Counties, the two BSUs are Holy Spirit Behavioral Health Center and NHS The Stevens Center.
