Offers car seat inspection station. Rental car seats are available on a limited basis through the PennDOT Loaner Program. Provides fire prevention materials and education on different safety topics on request.

Fee Amounts: Seat rentals are $10.00 for loaner program, $5.00 reimbursement when car seat is returned.
Intake Procedure: Call for appointment
Geographical Area: Child Safety Seats are available to anyone requesting them.
Fire Safety presentations and materials are limited to the Borough of Chambersburg.
Helpful Tips: Car Seat Technicians are not necessarily available every day - especially in the case of expecting families, please contact us in advance. Every effort will be made to accommodate families with emergency needs for car seats.
