Engages, assesses, and combats homelessness for individuals living on the streets, in encampments and other locations not intended for human habitation.
Outreach staff works to build trust with those experiencing homelessness first by helping to meet some of their basic needs (including advocacy, food, clothing, employment, showers, laundry, transportation, identification, an address to receive mail, etc.).
Eligibility:
People who are living in a place that is not intended for human
habitation such as a vehicle or a hotel paid for by charitable
organizations.
Hours:
Emergency Shelter: 9:00pm to 7:00am
Resource Center: 7:00am to 9:00pm

Intake Procedure:
For Shelter: Screening on-site from Tuesday through Saturday,
12:00pm to 5:00pm OR Call 211 for screening into shelter system,
Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm (evening and weekend
referrals not available)
Intake Requirements:
All shelter guests are required to go through a National Criminal
Investigation Check (N.C.I.C). Visit the Carlisle Police Station
at: 240 Lincoln Street, Carlisle
