Kennett Square - Food Programs
Provides a lunch served on weekdays. Lunch reservations must be made in advance. In addition, the Center is part of Pennsylvania the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, which provides low-income older adults with four checks to buy fresh farm food grown in Pennsylvania. Each eligible senior may receive four $5.00 checks for a total benefit of $20.00 one time during the program year. A married couple is eligible to receive eight $5.00 checks for a total of $40.00 one time during the program year. Checks are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis in late May and early June. Produce distribution Wednesdays, usually at 11:45 am. Free Bread/Baked goods available M-F.
Eligibility: Age 50 and older in Chester County (age 60+ eligible for free hot lunch)
Hours: Lunch is at 11:45 AM, Monday through Friday.

Fee Amounts: Lunch: A donation of $2.00 is requested from those 60 years of age or older. There is a charge of $5.57 for lunch for those under 60 years of age. There is no charge for the Senior Farmers Market Program.
