Eat, Play, Grow promotes active and healthy lifestyles for the families of Reading, PA. Bilingual home visitors deliver the evidence-base EatPlayGrow curriculum.
The goals of the program include:
1. Increase the consumption of fruits and veggies
2. Decrease the time children spend in front of the television, computer, or video game screens
3. Increase the time spent in physical activities
4. Decrease the consumption of sugar-sweetened drinks
Eligibility:
Must live in Reading and have at least 1 child age 2 to 6 years

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Intake Procedure:
Must complete informed consent form and a questionnaire along with
other documents to gather information about the household
constitution; child's age, height, and weight. Home visit is
scheduled.
Intake Requirements:
Families do not need to provide any type of documentation. They
only need to sign the informed consent form to participate.
