Growing Green Summer Camp
A week-long (Sunday-Friday) overnight camp held in the Poconos for children (age 10 and older) and adults with disabilities. Campers gain environmental awareness and learn organic gardening in specially designed gardens while also enjoying traditional camp activities like hiking, canoeing, sports, arts and crafts, campfires and swimming. An optional employment track is available for campers who want to explore work experiences. Campers sign up for one or more weeks. 2024 session dates:
Week 1: June 30 - July 5
Week 2: July 7-12
Week 3: July 14-19
Week 4: July 21-26
Week 5: July 28 - August 2
Week 6: August 4-9
Eligibility: Children and adults with disabilities ages 10 through adult
Hours: Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon
