Williamsport - Liberty House Shelter
A permanent supportive housing program for homeless women. The maximum length of stay at Liberty House is 24 months. Client residents attend counseling and life skills education workshops. The staff work with participants on money management, parenting, job hunting, and nutrition, with the goal of self-sufficiency.
Eligibility: Women and women with children who are homeless in Lycoming County. Must be able to function independently in a shared living environment and must be at least 18 years of age.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm

Fee Amounts: Service fee is based on family size and income based on HUD guidelines. A portion of the remaining income is to be kept in a savings program that will be maintained by the resident.
Intake Procedure: Call 211 for Housing Specialist if seeking shelter .
Intake Requirements: Partners with PA-211 for all referrals into the housing program.

Facility/ADA Access: The public entrance is located in the back of the building. From the parking lot, please proceed up the back ramp.
