The Chester County intermediate Unit provides preschool services for children with developmental delays, children from income eligible families, children of high school students enrolled in CCIU's Young Parents program, and children of CCIU employees.
The following preschool and child care services are available:
- Preschool Special Education (for preschool-age children with developmental delays)
- Even Start (for preschool-age children from families with literacy needs)
- Head Start (for preschool-age children from economically disadvantaged families)
- Infant & Toddler Center (for the children of high school students enrolled in the Young Parent's program)
- CCIU Early Care and Education Center (employee, tuition-based early care and education center)
