Philadelphia - Extended School Year
Offers a range of program options in excess of the traditional 180-day school year during five weeks in July and August. ESY is a way to maintain progress made during the school year and avoid issues of regression and recoupment over school breaks. ESY services are determined by a student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The purpose of the ESY program for school-age students is the implementation of IEP goals.
