Philadelphia - Intensive Prevention Services
Offers an early intervention program for youth who exhibit high-risk or at-risk behaviors. Designed to work with youth and families to prevent truancy, steer youth away from delinquency, improve school performance, enhance life and social skills, and strengthen family relationships. Services include individual and family counseling, home and school visits, after-school group programming three days a week, and case management.
Eligibility: Philadelphia youth ages 10 to 19, who present with at least one of the following characteristics:
A) Chronically truant
B) Suspended from school 3 or more times or expelled in last 12 months
C) Arrested within the past 12 months
D) History of running away
* First time infraction on school grounds
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 9:00pm
