* Provides utility assistance for residents that live within the City of Reading. Must have shut off notice.
* Provides one time help for low-income homeowners with their water, sewer, trash and recycling bills. May receive one time a year - up to $150.00 in credit on the water, sewer, trash and recycling bills
Eligibility:
Rent and Utility Assistance: Income restrictions apply
Water Assistance Hardship Program: * Applicants must be a Reading Area Water Customer * Must be a homeowners, not tenants * Must meet certain income guidelines * Must be current on their existing bills
