A particular emphasis is placed on reaching disparate populations. Promotes the American Heart Asssociation CPR Anytime kit through presentations in community settings or worksites. Promotes and/or hosts online continuing education webinars for healthcare professionals. Provides educational programs on the Food Guide pyramid, BMI (body mass index), Food label reading, and the importance of exercise. Promotes and provides workplace wellness programs that encourage environmental and systems changes that reduce cardiovascular risks.
