Wyoming County Human Services Building - Chore Services
Provides chore activities based on eligibility and available funding. Services including: home safety/security (installation of handicapped and safety rails for tubs, toilets, stairs; Installation of deadbolt locks, repairs to broken windows); handicapped adaptation (modification of thresholds, installation of handicapped toilets, ramps, stair glides); minor plumbing repair (assistance to resolve water leaks, replacement of water heaters); minor electrical repairs; and minor carpentry repairs (replacement of broken steps).
Eligibility: Wyoming County residents, age 18 to 59 years who have an income below 125% of poverty guidelines. Call for information.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
